About HCC

Welcome! We are a non-profit club with a mission to promote cycling in the Hartbeespoort, Brits and surrounding areas. Membership fee for 2017 is R250 p.a.

 

Since the inception of HCC more than 20 years ago, the cycling enthusiasts have made considerable progress in developing a club that is geared to serve the needs of the community and the club members. Our members are recreational riders, racers, para-cyclists and bike commuters. We encourage all to join our ranks in an effort to promote bike safety overall. We are affiliated with Cycling South Africa.

Our club management have embraced the challenge to grow the club to fulfill the expectations of all its members and to encourage more people to join this healthy and challenging sport.

We have regular club rides and invite members to join our club activities. Mountain bikers are escorted by experienced riders on the great variety of mountainous terrain in the Magaliesberg region. For road bikers we organize a support vehicle and safe escorts to face all the challenges we are confronted with on our roads.

Our management team is fully committed to running the club in a very transparent manner with good corporate governance and sound financial controls in place.  These are people who are pasionate about cycling and who manages the club in their spare time on a voluntary basis.
